Over the River and Through the Woods...

To grandmothers house we went...

We took a road trip to Utah last week to visit my family and bless Ella.

The kids were much better than we expected!

(Thank you Grandpa and Grandma Couch for letting us use your spacious car with the DVD player. It was a lifesaver!)

We drove through the night (Thank you 5 hour energy drinks) and got there by 3AM.
We woke up to beautiful Utah fall weather!

We met Kelly for her lunch break during school at McDonald's!

Hung out with Grandpa Nichols.

Taught a lesson in Miss Nichols' 3rd Grade Class.
I had such a blast being back in the classroom, especially in Karen's class! It would be so fun to team teach with my sister! She's got a very entertaining class, but she's doing a great job with them!

Went on the Alpine Slides with cousin Tate and the Couch family.
We had the whole Couch family together for one night to celebrate Tate's 3rd birthday!

Went on a FHE hike and picnic in the canyon!

Ella LOVED getting so much attention.
If you've met her brother you'd understand why she's not very used to this...

We had such a fun week and had too much to do in such a short time...we all suffered from sleep loss. Ella had to make it up anyway and anywhere she could!

This was one of the greatest weeks ever!
We got to see and spend time with so many family members!
Ben told us the whole way home (16 hours) that he didn't want to go back to his house. haha
